Issue 001 of One Aware magazine - On Sale as the next issue is about to launch

This issue is themed Impulses, and it challenged our contributors to take a deep look inside themselves and share why they act in the way they do. From mundane spur of the moment purchases, to the irresistible calling to move; from the urge to light a cigarette, to the angry impulse to be violent - writers and artists have made themselves vulnerable and opened up about what makes them so uniquely who they are.

This issue features: Sanjana Mattur, Rahul Das, Inês Simões, Sarah Barrington, Daniel De Luca, Florence Alice Martin, Paige Ring, Alexandre Szolnoky, Joely Fashokun, Meg Abbot, Pamela Aminou, Matthew O'Rorke, and Riccardo Matlakas

John C. says:

“I’d given up on magazines filled with fluff, ads, and stupid articles. I actually read your publication. I mean, read! From avocados to refugees, I was enlightened and involved. There were specific phrases and observations I could have highlighted as being extremely insightful regarding life and attitude… The word millennial appeared several times, and as the father of two millennials, I worry. My basic point is that it was appropriate and interesting for anyone to read, whatever their age and background, and that is important. Best wishes and good luck!”
